J.WHITE WOODWORKS

HI! I'M JASON

A little about me. I started in woodworking/cabinetry in 1991. While in college I had a summer job helping a cabinet maker. After I graduated he offered me a job and I took it. I worked for him for 9 years learning everything I could till I felt like it was time to go out on my own. In 1999 I started my own business under the name of Accent Woodworking. My company built, and installed custom cabinetry and built stand alone furniture pieces. I took pride in our craftsmanship. Our cabinets were second to none. The business flourished at it's height in 2007. Eventually the market took a turn and the business struggled during the recession. We held on until 2012 when I finally closed the doors. It left an awful taste in my mouth and I left the trade on a professional level. I didn't have anything to do with woodworking or cabinetry for a long time.

My wife introduced to Pinterest in April 2014. Just for sh*ts and giggles I searched table saws and found these contractor saws fit into mobile cabinets with storage and router tables built in called "table saw stations". I was hooked. It was perfect for only having a small single car garage. I started designing mine and I went out and bought a used contractor saw and the rest you can say is history. This is my blog of what I do now for myself as a hobby, I use Pinterest constantly for great ideas which put my own spin on.

Hope you enjoy the blog!
